    Was wonderin if anyone comes up this way to fish for shad sinse they will be running soon?. Theres a great spot in dairyville that i have been going to for 10+ yrs. Any members live around here that shad fish reply back.

    You all should try the lower Yuba river it has a pretty fair run up it. Last year I managed to get about 75 with some getting up near 5Lbs. All taken on shad darts,What fun in just 2 mornings of fishing I caught in excess of 50 shad some of them getting up near 5Lbs.

    I live in Sacramento. Always do pretty good with the Shad run on the American River Parkway 23 Mile stretch.
