    I'm headed to Lake Pilsbury in the Mendocino Nat Forest in a few weeks. Does anyone have any advice for me on trout or bass in this lake. Also, what is a squaw fish? I know they are considered an invasive spiecies but are they any fun to catch or any good to eat?

    I don't know about the lake you're going to but squaw fish fight much like carp and from what i hear they don't taste very good just kind of bland with lots of bones

    Yeah I figured they would'nt be any good to eat. I hear that there are a lot of them in that lake and that they are willing biters so I'm thinking I will probably get into a few while fishing for trout and bass.
