I have a book titled Olle's Colorado Fishing Guide and Atlas published by Outdoor Books and Maps that lists hundreds of lakes and streams open for public fishing. The DOW published a book called Fishing Close to Home by Phillip Goebels, I think it concentrated on the Denver Metro area. And of course the DOW website

Do not forget your local bait and tackle shops, either. Sure, you can get a dozen worms cheaper at Wal-Mart, but you can get advice from the tackle store to keep you from wasting those worms where they ain't biting!
    Anybody have any other resources?
