Anyone do much fly fishing in Golden Gate State Park?  Just did a trip up to Eleven Mile Canyon and had a good time.  Was looking for somewhere a little closer to home where I could also use my State Park Permit (actually use it's value finally).

Was thinking Deer Creek there, but not sure if it is decent or what.  Sounds like all the ponds are just stockers; not sure about all the creeks that go through the park.

    Thanks!

Yea...waste of time trying those creeks on the park out.  Ponds weren't really much fun either...guess I'll have to stop being adventerous and stick to the well known places.

Not much in fishing there. Dudes fishing hole is about it. Better off going north twards coal creek or south on the st vrain river. The inlet to Barker res in nederland is really good. Good luck!
