Frank, I haven't fished the Big Thompson in about 5 years.  It used to be a great place to find large brownies!  I used to live in Greeley in the early 60s and up until 5 years ago I would take my son out for a week of fly fishing almost every year.  My parents used to live in Estes Park.

Best of luck to you all!  I sure hope to return one day...

I live in the Pueblo area, and up till now we have always fished for trout in places like, clear creek, fore bay and the Arkansas river. But this year we have quit the trout fishing and are now looking for other species. We just had a nice crappie trip to blue lake. Our next trip is to Pueblo Res. to try and figure out the wipers. So if anyone knows how to land them at the Res. all help would be appreciated.

Went to the Colorado River today in Grand Junction. Great day until we got blown away by a rainstorm. I caught a round tail chub and a smallmouth bass on a spoon with several others chasing it. Great fun!!!!!

For Kokanee use kokanee killers or wedding rings if in a boat. They are spinner rigs. Troll them at about 1.5- 2 mph. You hhave to find the depth that their at. Use weights or leadcore or some use downriggers. They can also be caught from the shore at times with little jigs under a float. Pink or lime green have always been the best colors.
