Both are the same thing just depending on what part of the U.S. you came from and live in now.
HAs any one else fished for these eel like monsters. They sure do have some teeth. But they are just like Catfish sitting on the bottom waiting to have somethnig swim past them.
MAn they re rather stupid fish or very hungery mY Buddy Cody and I went fishing on this creek thats brakish water near my house and we caught the same mudfish like five times they sure can get big in a creek about 3 feet deep you can see them when they open their big white mouths, they re like a combination of a Bass catfish and redfish, they re really werid looking but man they put up a fight. I mean when you real in one of these fish that can get up to a yard big in a creek no depper than about thigh deep you do get very startled when you see one of these we wont wade in that creek no more but its a pain in the *** trying to real in a fish of this size up a bridge about 5 feet off the top of the water with out a gaff. To catch these fish try useing White ZOOM tubes.

If anyone else has or knows of good Ideas to catch these monsters Id like to know thanks
