I don't know about the winds but weather for fishing in the Orlando area Jan. 1st and 2nd is calling for lows in the upper 50's and highs in the mid to upper 70's, and partially cloudy. My body doesn't handle weather cooler than the 50's so since my return to Fla this past November I haven't caught a bass yet. I'd gladly pitch in for a day of drowning shiners out on one of the areas more active lakes. I have a little pond hopper but would love to get out there beyond the reaches of my trollong motor in a regular boat with a normal engine. Can't think of a better way to start the new year! Hope everyone is happy and safe this New Years Eve ( and all the coming year as well).
