Me and my wife are from Lake Wales and now live in Indiana. Its a bummer here. You have to drive at least 45 mins to even find a fishing spot. Then the ones they call keepers here are smaller than the shinners you use for bait. We soo miss going out on either Lake Buffum or Walkin' Water. I saw a post on here from a while back asking about Peace River. I have been on that water and seen some huge alligator gar. The bass was good too. And how about some of the lakes in the Lakeland area? Ten-o-roc mine put a monster bass on the wall for my aunt. Saddle Creek has plenty too.

 My dream is to be able to fish Stick Marsh/ Farm Pit13 out on 60 by Yee-Haw Junction. Anyone been there?

 Strange question but how many members went to school in Lake Wales from the class of 93'?

redington shores tampa bay area the best fishing in indiana is the small water shed lakes some you will have to get permission from farmers there is a lot of small waters that is good fishing

not yet but do plan on it caught that one at lake barkly in kentucky

If and when you get over into Lakeland, you have to try and get access to Ten-O-Roc Mines! Its northeast of the power plant on lake parker. The fish in there are huge. Like I said my aunt has one on the wall with an eye the size of a cue-ball. I forget the weight but know it was in the teens and caught like all the monster bass,,,, last cast of the day,from the back of the boat while waiting on the trailer! My uncle was sooo bent he tried to "accidently" drop it while putting it in the well. What makes it better is he had to pay for the mount and have it placed on the wall above the tv for him to see every day.I don't know about you but my wife would do the same thing!

ya I do want to to fish ten o roc and will let you know my boat is at the shop motor is being rebuilt 4 more weeks till i'm back on the water

Ouch 4 weeks!!!!!! I feel your pain, right now I am in recovery from a car wreck and we can't go out on the boat.  So we are doing a lot of bank fishing.

it's killing me I can't wait to get back on the water
