Hello Idaho members; I go by swamprunner and I live in Glenns Ferry,Id. I'm looking for some fishing parterns from MT. Home to Twin Falls ID. It is hard to get around when you only have one car and the wife uses it all day. So I not able to drive anywhere myself to go fishing. Sorry to say I am disable in my legs, arms, wrists & some other problems.Because of the wrist problem I'm not able to drive very far. My health isn't to bad just can't stand or walk to long before I have to set down or getting to the fishing area. So I need to be close to the water like on a dock. On flat ground or in a boat. I have made my own fishing chair to set in. It has wheels on it to get around, just need a big trunk or pick-up truck to haul it any where.I have three pieces that I take with me. A big chair, big tackle box & a cooler for lunch, drinks & to keep the fish I keep to eat. Like fishing for almost anything I can catch that puts up a fight.(not to big) But like trout, bass, crappies & perch Looks like hardly anyone been on here for awhile. I check back in a couple days or at least once a week.Looking forword to hearing from other members {:-)> GOD BLESS!! p.s. Just becoming a life member this year so. |

Hello from the Boise area..... I was born here but bounced back and forth between here and central NY my whole life. Just moved back here end of last summer. I enjoy fishing for anything with fins but liviing where I did in NY carp fishing has become VERY popular and there were always alot of tournaments with good pay outs so now when I go fishing just for fun I go after carp and I am a member of carpanglersgroup a US based club that has been around since I believe 93 and promotes the catch and release of trophy size fish. I already know what some will say ewe trash fish I say to each their own its more about the sport and not the species but as I said I fish for everything but when I fish for sport I am after the fight. |

Craig "IDMooseMan" Peters here in Nampa. Became a "regular" member recently. I'm a Life Member of the NAHC and have the same screen name over there. I like to fish for bass, bluegill, carp, catfish, trout, salmon, steelhead, and whatever else can be found in the water. Feel free to PM me if you want to hang out. I don't have a boat, so I'm pretty much limited to fishing from shore. |

Hi, I'm a new member and I live in Preston (Southeast Idaho) about an hour south of Pocatello. I'd love to trade a trip kind of thing to be able to do some kind of fishing that I don't usually get to do. ie I'd love to fish for pike (be happy to arrange a time to make it up to northern Idaho for a day or two sometime. I'd also love to fish for catfish and/or flyfish for carp. Of course I'd love to fish for steelhead or sturgeon if anyone would let a guy tag along. In exchange, I'd be happy to take someone fishing for trout, largemouth bass, panfish, or even on a float down the south fork or Henry's fork this spring, summer, or fall. I have a drift boat and flyfish a lot, but also fish jigs, spinners, plastics, etc. when its the best method. I'd be happy to help coach someone in fly casting if they could take me fishing for something I haven't caught before. I make it to Boise several times a year, so if there are guys near Boise, Twin Falls, etc. or anywhere inbetween we should fish sometime. Like I said, "will travel to fish new species." Hope to hear from ya soon! |
