i have never gone ice fishing but would like to. also just sitting on a frozen lake doing nothing dont sound like much fun. what takes place during fishing? i picture someone sitting over a hole holding a stirng with a hook on it. there has to be more to it.

just thought of it. this weekend was really nice here in mtn home. was gonna go fishing but other things came up. now im sitting here watching snow come down idaho weather isnt something a guy can perdict. is it ice fishing or snow fishing?

its realy fun Ive done it my whole life and love it im not rich enough for a boat so ice fishing is my thing and ive caught so big one. u can use 5 pole and there nothing to hold u to one spot u can go anywhere on the ice. ive only fell through once little cold but no worse than falling out of a boat but it a the excitment that keeps me going.
