Went out on the Kankakee River last week. Had a good time on the water but the fish weren't real cooperative. We were around St. Anne where the river goes under highway 17. between the 2 of us we caught 1 small EYE and 6 smallies. the biggest smallie was about 2#. We used minnows, crawlers, jigs, and lures.
