So I happen to come across this post and thought I should check in. Greetings to all, I'm Jennifer aka 'Cricket' a beginner fisher for some time. I reside near O'hare airport and have fished this past year at Herrick and Mallard Lake. Prior to that, I lived near Hickory Hills/Willowspings area. I've camped and fished down in Shabbona a few times but when living south between working and finishing collage my normal local spot was Maple Lake. I'm used to catching smaller fish, since the big ones that did cross my line...got away :( So thats me...in fishing brief. Hey all, Ed northsider checking in. Have not fished too much locally, always driving 6 to 10 hours to find fish. HOW NUTS IS THAT? Gonna try the ice this year and hope to find spots closer to home this spring. Tight lines to all, and to all a good fight!!!! |

Hello fellow ILLINI. !!!!!!! Came across this posting and thought I would sign in. I'm from Springfield and joined the club in '06 and became a Life Member in Feb. '07. I fish mostly lakes around Springfield and make an annual trip to Kentucky Lake in the Spring. Good fishing to everyone this spring. GO ILLINI!!!!!!!!

Hey all. Had tons of probs w/computer last year, got a new
one finally. How was everyones holidays? Can't wait for the
ice-cubes to melt, only used new trolling motor twice last year.
brkat: Congrads on the lil' ones first fish.
Tried callin, but must have put in wrong # when got new cell in
June. Have you heard from any of the BOYZ?? Doesn't look like many are left since they re-designed the web site, but looks like new members are stepping up.

Rockford. I have a 17' Jon boat w/10 hp motor and trolling
motor. Always looking for new friends to go fishing with. I
fish all over the place.
