schweickert checkin in from Oglesby Il. the Ill. river is hot with EYES and whitebass. the Vermillion river is great all summer for smallies and cats. who could ask for more???? husband and I were out last weekend on the I&M canal taking cats and crappies. see you on the water!! |

Hey Rich, Welcome to the NAFC...My name is Denny and I am the Co-Chairman of the Nafc Ohio Chapter. I have taken it upon myself to encourage each state to start their own state chapters and would like to see you guys in Illinois get one started up. WOW; I haven't been on this site in about a year, and what a pain to get back on. Also hard to get around too. I see some of the old timers arnt around either. getdanet still here, but I see him other place's . No wonder I hang out at CLF and chi-town. So this ol boyz for illinoiz will brouse around for a while and see what he'z missed. Good fishing to ya all. |

Hello all. It's been a loooooong time here. I am in Rochelle (20 mile south of Rockford and 15 west of DeKalb. I have a 17' Jon w/9.9hp merc and a Minkota remote trolling motor, depth/fish locator, GPS with HotSpots Lake maps for East and North regions. "HAVE WATER WILL TRAVEL". Don't really like what they have done to OUR website. Went up to the Eagle River Chain for a few weeks. Awsome time. Stayed at the Gypsy Villa Resort on the Island. Best trip I had ever been on with my wife Brenda. I will highly recomend Gypsy Villa to all my friends. They have HUGE Hottubs too.
You also have me down twice on your list. I am at 4 and 21. I had to get another name when they screwed up my account when they "updated" the site. So you can get rid of 21, CIENKUS1 is my current name, or some just call me Brian.

Currently from Tremont but the olady and I are going to retire in a few years down at my new place we bought last year on East Fork Lake in Olney, IL. They have some great crappie, bass and walleye fishin. Haven't caught any walleyes yet cuz I need to hone my not yet present skills. Just joined this club and hoping to meet and maybe even fish with some of ya'll. Howdy! Steve P. |
