    Yep! it's true, the new Hoffman Estates store is slated to open late summer of 2007. Expected to employ over 400 people. Just got off the phone with Red down there in Tenn. and he told me about it. See the link below...

    Now yer talkin' i actually live a couple of miles from the hoffman estates illinois  Cabelas. been there several times. it's got an amazing gun library and fishing section along with other great outdoors stuff. if anybody hasn't gone there yet, go there, it's a beatiful store! 5/5!

    There's a new 1 open in NW Indiana just off I-80/94 at the Indianapolis exit. With that and a Dick's and Gander Mountain in Merrillville and a Bass Pro in Portage I'm going to need another job just to support my fishing habit.

      I've been there right after it was built (4-5 Years ago). I like the way they have a stream that runs throught the whole store  with trophy size trout swimming in it. As far as selection it is the same as all the others. I just don't know for sure if it has a bargain cave where they sell returns and discontinued items.
