I was checking the Illinois for a friend who fishes in your state. He like the river fish from the Mississippi, Illinois Rivers. He lives near alton, ILL. We work together in st. Louis, MO.

He offten brings me some bluegill & crappies all clean & frozzen. All I have to do is cook it.

He was telling me some of the crappies has a worm or something in them. some as big a dime & smaller. He toss them out & want to know if they are alright to eat if you cut around it. I myself have not found any here in MO.

I mostly fish in Lake's more so then in rivers.

    thank you in advance.
