Well, Lazarus (Ray Ray) came up from Chicago for a day of fishing with me. We got the boat loaded and headed to the famous "Honey Hole" only to find out that the launch was packed full. That never happen to me before at this lake as this lake is a quite "no wake" hidden gem that I fell in love with three years ago.

Ok, no big deal, there was a plan "B".

We got to Okauchee Lake and got the very last parking spot in the launch - wow - this was a weekday, around noon and the lakes are packed today. Got the boat on the water and she started right up on the first crank. WHEW!!!! that was a relief. The bite was pretty S-L-O-W. But we did manage to leave the lake with out the  Skunked!

All in all, even though the fish weren't jumping in the boat, it was a nice day to be out fishing with a friend. It was also a great feeling to know the boat was in good working order for the season  Thumbs Up!

Catching "The Big One" and landing allot of fish is what we all hope for but when i go out i only have one thing in mind.

    A: have fun
    And
B: as long as i catch one fish the hole day it was worth the trip

While catching allot is what we want it don't always happen and i think the thrill of at least catching that one blue gill or crappie is enough excitement to keep me coming back and eventually I will have a day where i get 20-30 fish.

So its nice to hear u all had fun.
