    Where do different fishing tournaments in Illinois take place and when do they take place? I'm trying to get into somewhat competitive fishing thats not in another state.

    A subscription to Il. Outdoor News would be a good place to start. They usually list most of the Il. tourneys. If you can keep an eye on Dale Bowman's column in the Chi. Sun Times which is available online. Hope this helps. Tom
