Has anybody been fishing Summit Lake, if so how's it going, anything to brag about?

I am going this weekend with my two youngest to mt. summit .

last time there caught a 2lb largemouth and around midnight caught a 15 lb catfish. I love fishing there.

MT. SUMMIT IS ABOUT  3MILES NORTH OF NEW CASTLE.

NEW CASTLE IS ABOUT 45 MILE EAST OF INDIANAPOLIS ON INTERSTATE 70

WELL GOT MY KIDS READY THIS MORNING AND GOT OUT THERE , THEY DO NOT OPEN GATES TILL 8 AM.SO WE WENT AND GOT SOMETHING TO DRINK. GOT BACK TO THE GATE AT 8 AM.GOT SET UP AND IT WAS ALREADY HOT. KIDS WANTED TO SWIM HA HA HA . I DID END UP CATCHING A 10 LB CARP AND A 1/POUND BASS BUT THAT WAS IT. EVERYONE I TALKED TO SAID THE BITE WAS REAL SLOW. ALL IN ALL DECENT DAY WITH THE KIDS.

A couple friends of mine went the other day and 1 out of the 3 brought back some bluegill, I don't think the other 2 could catch a cold but at least they were fishing instead of working like I was.
