Anybody ever been to the Indy Boat Spot and Travel at the state fairgrounds before? Is it worth going?

I just looked at the vendor list and I think my expectations are way off mark. I was hoping for vendors that sold supplies and tackle hoping to find deals to stock my tackle and replenish some used up before the season, but looking at the list it seems that most in "Tackle Town" are just trying to sell you a charter boat ride.

I had planned on going at least two days, and was going to buy the tickets in advance. But now that I've done some deeper searching, I'm having second thoughts and can save the extra $20 for more for me.

As always your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

My appologies, I misspelled on the first post. The link is corrected now. You might be able to find a better show. Try http://www.huntingfishingandoutdoorshow.com   It is broken down by states and has dates and links to the show site. Chicago has it's annual Boat, Travel and RV show, and while it is the biggest show in town, it's not a good place to shop for tackle, some of the smaller shows are better. Tom

You are right probably not the best place to stockup, if you know what you want, but there are some neat booths and its fun to walk around look at the diff stuff. You won't be there 2 days.
