little more info I mainly fish the Iowa G L aera also fish the Missouri river in S>D>
and sometimes in mn. I love to fish for walleye but am happy to hook any fish I can

Hey y'all I'm settin here in east central Ia. (Anamosa) no I'm not in the big house either. Just wanted to check in and let you know the samllies, walleye, and a northern (I snagged it, it's a long story) are all doing great in the wapsi. I have thrown most anything that happens to jump into my hand at em and they seem to want to play, even an old lazy Ike and an old cisco kid . Hope your all enjoying the same luck and above all else just plain having a good time. I'm heading to Minnesota with my boys this weekend for a 4 day trip, I'll check in with y,all when I return. I only eat the fish I get in Minn. Hope I'm tired of eatin fish when I get back. Keep your line tight and tip up. Burbot |

Hey bigdog68: We got a pretty good number goin here, would make a nice get together in the middle of the state before the snow starts to fly. What are your thoughts. It would be nice to put a face with te name and know the person you were telling the fish story to really understood just how much of it was true. Burbot |

Handgunner500, from Hubbard. I fish bass, cat, walleye, northern, crappie and pan fish. But my addiction is Musky. I fish for them 95% of the time. Been fishing musky for about 8 years. |

Woodbury county here i have been a lifemember of the club since 1997 i have been fishing Iowa lakes and rivers for over thirty years. i live in Sloan on west side of Iowa about 4 miles from the missouri river |

Hi, SE. Iowa here. Salem Iowa, George Barber Life Member. My wife and I like to fish for Catfish ONLY. But I would be open to fishing for other kinds of fish but we don't know how or what lures to use or buy. We fish mainly in lakes and the Skunk river. Keep your tip up. |

Bassn' Al here. I live in Oskaloosa, IA and there are all sorts of lakes and rivers here within 30 miles. Bass, cat, pan fish, pike, muskie, and whippers and more. The following lakes I have fish and caught the following: Lake Keomah; largest bass, 7 lb. There are bigger ones in there. Lake Miami: 2 lb crappie, bass 7 lb, Lake Hawthorne; 6 lb bass, White Oak Lake; 5 lb cat. Skunk River; 5 lb cat, Des Moines River; 8 lb walleye, 9 lb muskie, Red Rock reservoir; 4 lb bass, 3 lb cat, white bass (all you want in July and August). I can't wait until I get out this year and fish again. I have a 18' Stratos bass boat and a two person boat. Looking forward hearing from here. Allen Chilcote |

From Lovilia, Iowa. Small town in the southern part of the state. Right between Lake Red Rock and Lake Rathburn. I am only 18 years old and grew up around the sport and love it. Just recently became a member and will soon be a life member.

Im a new member kind of I had joined when I was just a kid. But enyways my fianca and I resently bout a house in Le claire Ia. and im know getting in to the enternet. I fish the upper miss. pool 15 most the time but you will find me fishing the Illinois side of the creak witch is where im from. I have been looking for people that fish the miss. so I can learn more of it I have been exploreing the pool for posble hot spots. I have found some promsing areas but wont be happy till I have a 12 pound walleye on the wall. then Ill move to a new goal. |

I hate spending time on this computer when I should be out fishing/hunting but the weather isn't cooperating right now! Has anyone achieved the Iowa Spring Trifecta yet? This is what it consists of; morel mushrooms, walleye,crappie or trout (depending on what part of the state you are hunting in) and a gobbler eastern turkey all harvested within 24 hours! I can say that I have successfully done this the past 2 years in a row! What a rush it is! If I new how to post the pictures on this form I would. I'am a life member and enjoy anytime I can get out in great outdoors! Just thought I would check in so you didn't think I was pushing up daisies! TIGHT LINES! |
