I have been out of the fishing rackit for a while, I was in the Navy for over 11 years. I have now been out of the Navy for a few years. But the places I know of in my home town of Council Bluffs aren't getting anything. So I do not know where any good places to go to in the 50 to 60 mile area around Council Bluffs. If I could find a really good place to go to I might go father than this.

Any way, and maybe someone who wants to fish together with me, can teach me some tips that I have either forgotten during my non-fishing years in the Navy, or never learned before joining the Navy.

I don't own a boat. Sometimes I wish I did. But can't afford it right now. In fact I just filed for bankruptcy. I am just waiting to hear back from the court and for a court date.

I have fished up in Sioux City before. It has been MANY years ago though. Several years before I joined the Navy. So it's been over 21 years, maybe even over 25 years. Because I joined the Navy in 1986...
