I just updated the Iowa members list and you guys have 41 registered members. You have the makings of a great start to a state chapter. If you would like some information on getting started, stop by the Ohio page here on the Nafc site to get some ideas and ask all the questions you want and we'll be glad to help you out however we can. The first thing you need to do is contact other members from the updated members list and find out how many are interested in starting up a state chapter. Then you can discuss a location to hold your first ever planning meeting. You will need to nominate officers,(chairman, co-chairman, treasurer & secretary). While at your first planning meeting, you can discuss ideas about planning for your first ever chapter fishing meet, fundraising ideas to raise operating funds for your chapter, and so on.
