If anyone around the Kansas City area would like to fish this Saturday night (9/15/07), I've got the tie and I'm going. If you're interested, send me a PM and we'll work out the details.

RSJ I think it's a lack of leadership and interest in getting everyone together. Heck, I couldn't even get any to fish with me when I had the tie. I've fished with a bunch of people in the club and had a good time, but after extending invitations to folks 4-5 times and having them turn me down, or not respond in a timely manner, I get the distinct impression they don't want to meet and fish.

it makes it hard at times to say the least....i know i have read a few post were members going to be in another state are not as welcome or help'd as much as i would like to see? i guess it is hard to invite in somewhat stranges to fish with .... but i haven't had that problem yet....even tho` the CA chapter is slow goin too...
rodrigo if the family git up to KS this summer i hope your not to bizzy to take me out for a few hours...we would go to Newton again but i would hope to rent a car to git to you or anyone around in that area,(we would be there longer this time like a month total mostly in AR & maybe a week in KS?),,, to meet you would be cool, to fish with you cooler yet, but to catch a few fish that would be priceless Wink<!--graemlin:;)-->

With enough notice we can get this done. Generally 8-9 months is enough notice. My mom wants us to go to Costa Rica this summer and I'm ambivalent about those types of trips. Fishing, now there's something I like. It'll be a blast.

I saw a video on ESPN2 of some deep sea fishing off Costa Rica. That could turn out to be the fishing trip of a lifetime. Smiler<!--graemlin::)--> Go if you get a chance Rodrigo. Just make sure you have a passport handy.

I'd be on a tour. It's not like I'd be able to tell them hey let's go fish for a couple of days instead of planting trees in the rainforest.

Hey Lipripper------we survived the wedding but I was a little surpised how much money Mindy committed to the affair. Oh well. Smiler<!--graemlin::)--> I hope to get started on the bike this winter.

Hey Joe----got your E-Mail and sent you a reply. Smiler<!--graemlin::)-->

Rodrigo------Looks like I might be spending more time in the KC area. I know our schedules are a bit complicated but I'm sure we can squeeze in some fishing. I'll e-mail you a week before I intend to head out your way.

Maybe we could drag Steve out too. I'd love to see his collection of rods, reels and lures. I know David S.,our BB info goto guy, thinks a lot of him. Big Grin<!--graemlin::D-->

I'm going day after Thanksgiving. R U gonna be up this way? Miles says he wants to go, but he may not be able to get off work. I'm heading to La Cygne, unless it's really windy, then I'm going somewhere else. Little boats and big wind don't work out too well, ya know?

BTW I spoke to Steve a couple of weeks ago, he's got all of his fishing gear in town. That's a lot of gear.
