Glad to hear your doing better panhead. I was thinking of bringing my kids that want to go. As far as the wife, I'm not sure what she'll do like you all said it'll still be alittle cool out. I don't think she'll want to have the little ones out there to late. Well so far I think there's about four of us from Wichita going to be there. That's a start at least. Now which lake? Eldorado is close and if I remember right greenlantern has fished it. So at least one of us would know the lake alittle. The reason I would pick a close lake is if it's still pertty cool out at night my wife would probably bring the little ones home at night then come back out during the day. Me and the older kids would spend the night. Looking forward to this little get together of ours. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE AND STILL DO PROTECT OUR FREEDOM AND TO THOSE THAT KEEP US SAFE EVERYDAY. GOD BLESS FROM EVERT IN WICHITA, KS. |

Olsmoke the kids sound good Have a 5 yr. old grandson that loves camping.Would be great if he could have friends to play with.My wife will be there if I decide to go. The more people wife's ,kids would be a better get together.
I just wish the dates could be set for a later date when it warms up where everyone could enjoy being outdoors and not be cold. |

Rusty...You should consider a later date so it will be nice and warm for everyone.
El Dorado lake sounds good close to home and lot's of camping places. We camp at El Dorado all the time.
We have interest but only if it's warm out like Shorts & T-Shirt weather.
I also think it would be a good idea if you started a new Thread (Topic) on this get together.Talk later |

I am not set on a date so do not let that be a problem, I am up for just about any date anyone wants to suggest. Just pick whatever date you feel is good for shorts and we can go from there!! Rusty It does not matter if you are a Gazell or a Lion if you are not up and running before everyone else you will either go hungry or you will become food!!! |

As far as the date goes it don't matter when let's just do it. We'll probably have to wait until late April early May, and then pray for a sunny weekend not a rainy one. We'll just need to pick a time and maybe something of an alternate in case the weather don't permit. The rain won't bother me and my boys but it will the wife and babies. Sorry guys I've been a bit lazy lately. Talked to Rusty the other day. I would really like to do this . One Grandgirl is 7 and loves to fish. The other is 31/2 and is nuclear powered. She would be a handfull on a campout The late April time sounds good, bur we will need to be sure of access to weather info. It can change very quickly. |

Hi Greenlatern...Hey this is looking like 4 possible 5 with the guy up from Ks. City.
Hey the 3 1/2 yr. old would have other kids to play with so that will burn lot's of energy.
Have not heard anything from Rusty or olesmoke. But it sounds like we all live in Wichita.I think a get together on a Sat for lunch someplace would be good at making plans to set a date and be able to meet in person and get to know one another. |

Hello guys sorry been busy around the house. I've got a 2&1/2 and a 3&1/2 yr old boy and girl that the little one can play with. Don't know if they would spend the night depends on the weather and the wife. A saturday get together for lunch would be fine just say when and where. A person to person might get somethings nailed down. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE AND STILL DO PROTECT OUR FREEDOM AND TO THOSE THAT KEEP US SAFE EVERYDAY. GOD BLESS FROM EVERT IN WICHITA, KS. |

I like th Saturday Idea, just name a day and I will do my best to be there, there is a great little place on west kellogg on the North side of the road just before you get to 235 Family somthing, but anything is good for me except foreign stuff does not agree with me to well. Do we want to bring wives or not?? makes me no never mind. Wish you all a good day and hope you get to spend it fishing! Rusty It does not matter if you are a Gazell or a Lion if you are not up and running before everyone else you will either go hungry or you will become food!!! |

Hey Panhead you talking about the Town&Country Reaturant by Townwest mall. If you all want to bring the wifes that's fine with me. I'll bring the wife and kids also. The kids like getting out for lunch. It also depends on which weekend we get together for lunch. If it's a weekend I've got all the kids here I doubt they'll come with due to the amount in the house there's too many to take out, unless I take out a loan. HAHA. If your wandering I have six kids in the house. Every other weekend four of them go to their mothers house.
