New to the area and am looking for information on these nearby bodies of water or someone that wouldn't mind showing me around. Have own boat & fish for Bass, Walleye & crappie mostly. Hoping there are some members near by that fish these waters.

vesoup, Welcome to the board!! I am a guide in this area and will help you. For bass, it's a good bet that Lone Star lake will be your best. KDWP nettings this spring at Hillsdale was a eye-opener. Lots of 4lbs plus walleyes. Clinton has great crappies and some walleyes that will top 9lbs. They have stocked it with the hybird bass and they will drive you nuts trying for the walleyes. I like to pull crank-baits for the walleyes/saugeyes. Jigs/minners for the crappies. Look for brush-piles in 12 to 18ft for them. This should get you started. Good Luck and ask away for more info.  <*)}}}><

First off welcome to the boards.  Your area is not my neck of the woods, but I have fished Hillsdale once when I was training in olathe.  I fished one cove that had trees and stumps.  The bass were biting rather well and I lost a good sized one.  You have a lot of small lakes in the area too that can be good for bass.  And when the cold weather or cold water, but nice day then take a longer trip south to La Cygne.  It's a powerplant lake and the water there is nice and warm.
