Right now from the KC weather stations, we will get some rain on Friday, [but when?] and maybe a smidgen on Sat. then things should clear off.

 

The KC Star sports sections show the fishing report for El Dorado Lake, /// and the Crappie are good to very good  on jigs and minnows in the brush on the spawning banks, AND Walleye are good at 15-25 ft. deep in cuts and drop offs near the Dam area.

Nothing else was said about any other types of fish.

 

I am coming in from Ft. Scott, Ks. on 54 hwy west Friday morning. I will be checking out a few sales places along the way. I should be there sometime Friday afternoon.

Well I just got back from the hospital and my Uncle has had another stroke so i did not make it out to the camp site as of yet, I have spent a lot of time at the hospital and we have had relitives in from Washington state, Oregan, Arkansas, and California.

I have gone through three times as many pain pills as normal so I have not gotten hardly anything done in preperation towards this get-to-gether, I will try to get out there in the morning or the afternoon or maybe the early evening.

It does not matter if you are a Gazell or a Lion if you are not up and running before everyone else you will either go hungry or you will become food!!!

Well we didn't catch much of anything. OK some of us didn't catch a thing, but I had fun. Hope everyone else did. Hope next time we can get a few more members to come on out even if it's just for the day. Think our next one needs to be on into May or first part of June. Maybe even alittle fishing get together later this year still. Had fun hope we can do it again.
