I am going to visit your fine state of kentucky soon, and I plan on taking my father with me. My father has never fished Dale Hollow or Kentuky lake and I have been cheking out all kinds of places on the web for us to go. I am looking for some insight on a general area North, South , East, West, etc... we should go for some catfishing by night and bass fishing by day. I plan on renting a boat so we can get around the lake easily, niether of us have ever owned a boat or really spent a lot of time on one, all we know is bank fishing. I am looking to take him in maybe June of 2008 since my deployments are restricting me. If anyone can give me any helpful information besides telling me both the lakes are in 2 states, I would greatly appreciate it.
