Fred in response to your interest and hopefully others as well lets give it a try. ANYONE interested in trying to start a chapter and interested in helping to get things rolling leave your info here. You can leave me your info at animalhouse3764@comcast.net . It might work better that way or possibally by phone, @ 270-272-8703. I  think we first need to just have a meeting somewhere for some planning and discussion. Give me input for a location, time and interests. Also we need a good agenda so were not wasting peoples time, money and efforts. In the meantime I will check on info about bylaws and such. If I remember right, bigdog68 had that info available to me before. I'ts already March and we really need to try to move on this to make something happen for this year. If nothing else maybe a couple of us can meet to get things started and create a beginning by spending a day somewhere on the water(or two or three) I did meet with one member last year and I know he's in. Also mailing addresses would not be a bad idea to send me also for correspondence and a possible mailing list of those interested. Theres a lot to do and teamwork will make a difference. This passion has been instilled in us by a mentor at sometime in our lives. New fishing buddies are a blessing and as we learn from each other we also have the responsibility to teach others and pass it on to those who have not yet been HOOKED !!To teach the ethics and skills given to us. As a group we can do that. Looking to hear from some of you soon. Joseph

It looks like You may be right, about there not being much interest in forming a Kentucky chapter.  I know that members do read this, once in awhile.  And am wondering why, You have not gotten a reply by now.

I was ghoing to suggest a meet, at Kentucky/Barkley lakes.  But after the ice strom.  The area is a mess.  And will be that way for awhile.  Some of the campsights, are still closed.  Due to the roads being blocked, by trees, & limbs.

Roger that Sam ! Got the same problem here. At Rough River, where I fish often theres a lot of damage and they dropped the water real low this winter. Everything is slow. Lets give it some time and stay in contact. If nothing else we can maybe link up later in the spring or something. Two or three is a good start.Even if we dont get a chapter going we can make a few new fishing pals.Never know, could turn out to be a good thing. Thanks for the reply and your interest. Stay in touch !! Joseph

Thanks for the welcome guys, it's a good feeling to be here with others that love to fish.

since I joined the club I have got all 3 of my son's back on the water, and boosted Bass Pro's sales, they had to get gear ALMOST as good as mine,

the youngest even got a trophy KY Bass the first day out, this is one good way to live.thanks again for the welcome
