I'm fairly new to the club and the forums and I just discovered this page for us kentucky folks.  Anyway, I was just wandering if anyone fishes the kentucky river very much and if you had any advice for catching bass.  I'm from madison county and usally fish the river in between boonesboro and lock 11 in Irvine.   Are farm is closer to boonesboro but it is only 2 miles from where the red river joins.  I have had a little success fishing the rock walls where grass is growing out from the rocks but no solid patterns.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Kentucky forum. I have never fished there myself, but I'm sure some other fellow members will be able to help you out. If you are interested we are getting a Ky meet together. Check the Kentucky Chapter thread for more info. www.fw.ky.gov might have some info for you. Not sure?

I don't really know that much about Ky river but I heard slow moving bait has been working down there lately
