The July meet is off. We need to set a new date for the meet so that we can get as many members as possible involved. I would like to know what works best for everyone. Mid to late August or early September? The earliest we settle on a date the better. That way we have plenty of time to choose a central location for everyone who is attending. A simple August or September is all I need. If you cant make either one respond still. This way we know who is interested for next years meet. Any input or comments about a chapter or the meet are also appreciated. Thank you Kentucky.

Thanks for the replies Jerry and Shane. It is impossible to work around everyone's schedule, so I will give this post a week or two, and then I will decide on a time and place. I understand that some may not make it. That is fine. I think we need to get started now so that we can plan next years event. We really need a Ky chapter. Once again, I would like everyones response who hasn't answered yet. Any comments or questions are once again greatly appreciated. Thanks Kentucky.

Welcome back Leon. I will give it about a week to let everyone get a chance to post. We will find a central location once we get an idea of everyone that might make it.

Thanks for the input Barry. What part of the state are you in? I'm only about 10 minutes from Cincinnati Ohio. I think most everyone else who has posted is either east or central.(I could be wrong) If we get an idea of where we all are we can try to get a good location to meet.

Leon: I thinks it's about time to start eatin some of those catfish. Population control.

Your right. I posted in the surrounding states about our meet, so hopefully some others will join us. I think I will choose a spot and a date next weekend. I'm hoping more replies come in the next few days. Either way, there will be a mini meet this year. Next years meet will be scheduled by February so that everyone can plan for it.

I live about 20-30 minutes from lexington in madison county.  Sounds like a good spot for a meet,  I've never fished Elkhorn creek before but heard lots of good things about the smallmouth fishing. Keep me posted about a date and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks Barry. I've never fished there either, but www.fw.ky.gov has a good fishing forcast. I think it would be symbolic for the first ever Kentucky meet to be held in our capitol. Once again Ky, this suggestion is open to everyones opinion. Feel free to respond. Nothing is set in stone, but Elkhorn Creek Campground has 1 vote.

Surely we can use a tent because that's all I have too.  A small one man tent at that.  Can any one tell me how to post a picture under my name like everyone else.  I'm to dumb to figure it out.

Goto "my account" next to log out and when you click edit for the General info area you will see Avatar image. you will need a seperate window open and then You will have to have your pictures like on Facebook, myspace. est... any place like that even photobucket click onto your pic your wanting to use as your AVATAR and then goto the web address bar and copy. then go back to the NAFC "MY ACCOUNT" area and past image web address into "Avatar Image URL BOX" then click on save. NOTE: some images maybe to large to use. if IMAGE don't show then try to resize image smaller with a photo editer.

Hope this helps you our Barry.
