I've been trying to catch a fresh water Cusk for quite awhile. No JOY! Usually fish for them on 2nd Musquacook Lake off the Realty Rd. Anybody got any suggestions on when, where (Deep,Shallow), and type of bait to use. All my fishing buddies think I'm crazy for trying.

Put dead shiners directly on bottom or just a foot off in 30-45 feet of water and fish only at night for them.  You only have to check the traps every hour but they can get big and they taste good.
