    Just heard on the channel 9 & 10 News out of Cadillac that the DNR is providing a $2.8 million grant to Higgins Lake to buy the old Higgins Lake Boat yard & build a marina complex "to provide access for the residents of the 'back lots'". This is supposed to ease the friction between water front land owners & the back lot land owners.

    I can't find any info on the TV station, or the DNR websites. I'll add more info when I can find it.

    Glad to see the the extra money is being put to good use.
