My friend and I tried a little creek about 5 minutes from my house, and boy did we hit the jackpot!

This creek was NOT Johnson creek or the Paint river.

My friend caught this monster native rainbow on a salamander panther martin, size 2. It barely broke 20"!


His other bow measured at 16". On the same lure.


I had another trout on a PM silver, but it spit the hook.

We only fished for 45 minutes, cause the rain started to pour.

We also caught countless creek chub (largest was 7") and we saw two carp that were at least 15 lbs.
