Went night fishing last night at my local pond.  Didn't catch anything.

Went fishing at Silver Lake in the Pinckney Recreational Area.  Caught about a dozen Bluegill and one 3 pound bass off a deep diving Rapala.  The bass seemed to be around the drop-offs in about 8 feet of water.

Didn't bring my tackle to Chicago because we "had plenty of things planned." Big mistake. Could have fished all Saturday morning, but wasted it. I did see multiple boats out on Lake Michigan and it looked like they were all pulling in fish. I'm jealous...

gotta at least carry your porta-rod, Mike. consider it a valuable lesson learned. I caught a perch, bluegill and smallmouth at the "cut" in Grindstone City

Went fishing today at Spring Mill Pond.  Caught a 3 pound Largemouth Bass with a (red and white) Boyah spinnerbait, several good Green Sunfish, and about a dozen little Bluegill.

Went fishing today at one of my local ponds.  Caught a 3.5 pound Largemouth Bass, a Rock Bass, a nice Warmouth Bass, around 25 Bluegill and about 6 big Golden Shiners.  I caught the Largemouth, Rock, and Warmouth Bass with a texas rigged, black plastic worm.  Hope everyone else is fortunate enough to get out and go fishing this weekend!

yesterday i cleaned 31 bluegills and a couple of perch. caught many other fish, but either they were small or i just don't keep them-- like the channel cats.

this evening i caught a few smallies, a bunch of gills and a couple of white perch. i was out having fun so i didn't keep any fish

I was actually sight fishing in 2-3 feet of water and the thing came cruisin by. I tossed my soft plastic right in front of it and before I knew it, that thing was flailing so violently, I'm surprised it stayed on for as long as it did, haha.

Headed out for an hour yesterday before my Accounting class and landed 2 largies. More than likely headed out to Holly this weekend with my buddy Dave to try and wrangle some pike out of some small ponds.

Mike: I wondered what became of your Chicago trip. Every time I have left home without at least simple tackle I have regretted it. Only one time did I pack gear and not use it and that was due to weather! Tom

Yea Tom, I definitely regret not bringing any tackle, but there was nothing I could do 5 miles from home! I'll just have to prepare myself better next time...

Yeah, Mike K, never leave that tackle behind!  The fish of a life time only comes once in a lifetime!
