any of the harbor areas is good, also any creek mouth going into lake erie. i do have a couple spots with allot of gravel along the shore line with nice holes close enough to reach from shore. basically any where along lake erie, from cleveland east will have them |

The only place that I've ever fished for steelhead is at Yates Cider Mill over at Avon and Dequindre. I'm wasn't too familiar with steelhead, but a buddy's takin me there a few times and I'm starting to enjoy fishing for them. |

it'll be like a died thread until the ice fishermen start hitting the hard water. maybe a few brave souls will hit the rivers for some steelies and eyes. |

I'll probably be heading out on the ice later this week with my friend. Anyone get the chance to go ice fishing yet? |

i went twice.......wed got a doz crappy in the last hr i was out on the ice--was out all day--go figure. on thurs. the fish just weren't biting..........couple of gills and 1 crappy....it was very cold and windy thou. had to change my mind on were i wanted to go on thrus. also, some idiot wanted to take his atv out on the ice and went thru just about 200 ft.from shore right in the middle of the path everyone takes to get out on the fishing grounds. because of the lay out of this area of this lake makes it so nobody can get out there now until it refreezes. |
