I might be going over there to fish this season. Anyone have any tips or photos?

What do you want to fish for? and how do you plan on fishing? With some limitations Muskegon Lake has every kind of fish and water type. What you fish for determines where and how you fish. Several types of trout and salmon pass thru there and some hang out for a while. It is one of the best walleye fisheries around with fish pushing and past 15lbs taken most years. There is pretty good bass fishing on structure and around the flats and channels. Big catfish can be found as well as record size sheephead. There are plenty of perch and panfish mixed in throughout the lake and lake perch move in and out during the season.
