SeaKat here from Laingsburg (near Lansing). Got a few bass lately at Lake Lansing. Not much luck elsewhere though. The weather's really hot! Just got the Porta-Bote a trolling motor. No more having to row everywhere.

You got Capt. Blind Squrril in Flint area. I fish bass every week, and salmon out of Luddington ( at least this time of the year. It's St. Joe in the spring. ) Also trout opener in the U.P. , And the salmon run in the fall in the Betsy. Walleye in the spring, Smallies in the summer, and Kings in the fall all in the Flint river by my house. With this hot summer the Kings should be here by 1st or 2nd week of Oct. Red and white daredevils work great. And yes they DO bite it.  See Ya, Capt. Blind Squrril

Hi all, John from Columbiaville just off Holloway Res. Been out a few days this week when the hurricane force winds allowed. 2 days on Holloway not a thing. Tried Mott lake Friday and again nothing =( Fish don't like me or these funky winds have them all confussed.

All well, better than sitting at home.
