    anybody from the club living in the Upper Peninsula?

    I see a lot of down state people but I have yet to see anyone from UP here. I'm from the marquette,ishpeming area. Been a member for a couple of years now.

    Hey i always wondered about club members

    from the U.P. that was why i started the michigan

    roll call up date.  I fish in the UP when i can get up there.

    I have family in Paradise and fish lakes arounr there.

    Hope to hear from some UPers.

    ohh its my pleasure to do my country a service.... but i think once i hit 8 years im done.  ive only been in a little over 6 and im on my 3rd deployment.....   id rather be fishing lol... im part of the unit thats in sault sainte marie.    im supposed to be home in a couple months.... hopefully ill still have some time to bass fish and hopefully hit the trout and salmon run in time. the up needs more fishing clubs. i cant find one to save my life.

    Hey guys long time no see/talk me and the wife are going to the u.p. in august for a wedding so we decided to go camping at lake michigamee,gonna rent a cabin and bring the boat,anyone fish that lake before,if so how about some tips..thanks guys take care

    it was a long long time ago.......like when i was 23 er 24....i can't remember

    back then you fished the log jams for anything and everything.............walleye, pike, muskie, perch, smallies and rockies where what we got the most.

    oh ya......deep water had to be close by and if the logs hang out over the deep water the better

    I dont Currently live in the UP but I'm hoping as soon as Im done with college to be moving to the Eastern UP. St. Ignace is where my family is from and where I am for most of the summers. Fishing Brevort Lake, and many spots on the east side from cedarville to the soo. I can't wait till school is over and I can get from the Grand rapids area to the U.P where I should be. Anyone know where the Walleyes are being caught right now. Will be up this weekend.
