I found some panfish on a south metro lake this afternoon. Magic depth was between 12' to 15' using small Lindy Techni-Glo Genz Worm tipped with waxworms. Marked a bunch of fish but they were all light biters or finicky. Had another rig set up at another hole with a small spoon tipped with a minnow that had a huge hit. I got to the hole in time and set the hook and the fish peeled line out and by the time I tightened my drag the fish was gone. Not sure what it was but I am guessing walleye...??!! Nam D. Had a blast at the Jaycee's tournament on Gull. Didn't get anything, but my partner caught a .58# northern - good enough for 115th place and a Showdown digital fishfinder.
