Ice is great. Just got back from Theif River and Lake of the Woods. We went for 5 days.We caught something everyday,so thats always good. Had a couple of FIRST-TIMERS ON ICE that made things more comical. Caught only northerns in Theif River were the Red Lake river and the Theif join. Got our limit for walleye in LOW at sixteen mile island. It was a little slow, a front came in over night and the next day it was -24 with 40-45mph winds. It was a nice long weekend, and a good meal for tonight. |

Good morning. Haveing flood plans. Have to find away to get around all the water to get my boat motor. The Red's flood is back and not supose to crest sometime sunday. Plus all the overland flooding. 30 some roads in the county are washed out or with1/2-1 mile sections under water. At least the temps droped to slow down the tributaries. One local dam on the maple in N.D. is failing with manditory evacs going on. Hope to be fishin in a week or two. Have a good day. |
