    i am looking for resorts on lake of the woods for ice fishing.  which one would you guys recommend
    the guys i am going with don't really fish much prob go after walleye and perch maybe northern.

    That's a large expanse of H2O you're talking about...which area are you looking for, Warroad, Baudette, Williams, North West Angle, or Wheeler Point/Rainy River area.  I don't have personal information about the eastern end, however, I've been told its the best by those that have been there.  I've personally have used Springsteel Resort out of Warroad, Arneson, Zipplel Bay, and Rocky Point near Williams.  I've wasted a trip going upto the Angle, as I missed the caravan time for traveling to and from the fishing areas, meaning call ahead, lesson learned!  I've fished near Baudette, yet haven't used a Resort there, all and all I've caught fish most times I've been there.  Always had a great time, as its the company one keeps and shares their time with that matters...Hope this helps...Ken
