Hello folks. I tried catching fish yesterday and for about 90 minutes I just wasn't using the right stuff. Finally, I downsized to a little 1/32 white maribu lindy jig with an equally small clip on willow spinner and went from 0 to 10 in probably 20 casts. My last fish surprised me at 3# 4oz lmb. I was amazed that the little hook could hold and when I unhooked him I discovered it wasn't in there really good.

Anyway, the crappies at Lake Lotawana are close to the bank and aggressively feeding. I caught 5 in a row. I'm assuming they're like that elsewhere too.
