Hello, I am a KC, MO resident. I know that big cats are a big target along the Missouri, however I have very little experience fishing rivers for cats. I would love to be a fishing buddy for an evening to someone that is willing to share what they know about river catfishing. Willing to buy gas, bait, beer, snacks....whatever. TallCrane

Use big bait and "hang on to your pole".  I like slip sinker bottom rigs.  Try shrimp for bait.  Let them run and hit them hard.
