a dream of mine is to fish a tournament once in my life. as a nonboater this is hard to do. i have tried a couple of local bass clubs but there are so many non boaters you never get achance to get out. every boater has there favorite fishing partner and there never seems to be any open spots. so im asking once again if ther is anyone out there who would be willing to take someone out in a tournament once just so they could experience what it is all about. i have lots of good tackle i give up going cheap a while back. fell im pretty versatile. have caught bass up to 9.5 lbs so i have some experience catching them. willing to pay my share of costs of gas oil etc. available most weekends and with enough notice can get any weekend off. any lake in mo or ill is ok. so anyone willing to give this guy an oppertunity to check off one more thing from his todo list. thanks to all who consider doing this

Maybe sometime at Mark Twain this coming year, I've got a 16' wide bottom john boat with a 9.9 motor, its not fast but it'll get you where you wanta go.

hey cat and stgfish i appreciate your offers and i intend to take you up on them if we can work it out. cat with the boat you have im thinking a crappie tourney would fit the bill perfectly at mark twain so if that suits you let me know and ill see what i can find. also if you hear of something let me know. stgfish if they still run it i know of a buddy tornament out of loz usually end of march  first of april. i wii check that out and research some others and get back with you.thanks again its people like you all that keep me active in this club.
