I live in Council Bluffs. Lately I fish the Mighty Mo in late winter/early spring when ice is still on the lakes. Its to low to get the boat in the water from public ramps that time of year tho. I've tried to catch sauger from the bank. So far I've had no luck tho my nepthew has caught a few.
