Well I'm from N.H. but I live in Maine now over on the coast up towards Rockland. Lived in Hillsboro (Duck- howdy neighbor) and fished the 'Tooky" almost daily in season.
Liked Granite and Nubinusit and a bunch of local ponds.

I live 15 minutes from Rindge, NH in Massachusetts but fish mostly out of Hampton Harbor. Not many places I can use my boat in freshwater in Mass. Power limits here are only 25 hp. They frown on my 170 hp Mercruiser. Planning on going out to Isle of Shoals soon with the wife as soon as I get the truck reinspected.

Northern NH here (W. Stewartstown) Fish the Conn. Lakes, Conn. river, Lake Francis, and of course all the ponds and streams in the area. Since I retired in 2005 I spend the winters in Florida and summers in NH. Best of both worlds.

You could try Nubinusit lake in Hancock. It's a good size lake with good trout and smallmouth bass.It does have a closed season from mid Oct to ice in.Then ice out to mid April.A nice lake with very few houses.

Hi everyone, I'm from Milford, NH. and I'm really just getting back into this sport. I used to enjoy fishing for large mouth in Melindy pond in Brookline, NH. and an out of the way place in Greenville, NH. called Phill Hills. Behind my house across the feild is the Soughegan River and I've heard that is good Trout fishing but I have no experiance fishing in a river so I have yet to try it myself. I take my daughter to Railroad Pond right in the center of Milford, we have yet to catch anything but we have fun anyways.

Eric check out the member meet section and look at the 10th annual N. E. meet at rogers rock. We get members from New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennslyvania, Massachusetts, Maine. All are welcome if you have the time come and meet some fellow members. The smallmouth fishing is great.
