This past july i went on vaction to my dads,we went fishing every day. We didnt get much.the 3rd day i hooked an eel that would have taken the state record.i had it about 3 or 4 feet on land and the line broke.it went back in the water.

Im going next year! anyone have any tips on getting eels.I know thay hit nightcrawers and at night! But the one i hooked it was high noon!!
