       Hello I was thinking about going on an Offshore Canyon Tuna Trip and Iwas wondering how old do you think someone has to be to reel in a tuna. I will have drag set and im 13 yrs  old.do you think I can reel one in or are they to strong of a fish?

    As long as the boat has a fighting chair, you should have no problem. If not, as long as you have a good gimbel belt and shoulder harness that is all you need. If it's a big Tuna, you might get tired arms, but the mates are there to help you land the fish. It's something you'll never forget that's for sure. Just to hear a tuna strip off line. you'd never seen or heard anything like it. A Tuna trip is not cheap, even if you have your own, or know somebody that has a boat.
