We packed up Friday and made the 2 hour + run up to Sun Set on Seneca Campgrounds on Saturday. Unpacked and fixed a few minor problems then just set back the rest of the day. Cayuga looked good as I drove by a few boats working the south end. Up at Tunkhannock ,falls a few guys in the creek and about three trailers at the launch. Still looked nice as I drove by. As I came down the hill into Lodi Point I could see the wind had changed and was coming out of the north and getting a little white on Seneca. No one at the boat launch.
Cold this morning so I walked the dog down to the launch. They have cut down 5 of the huge trees that were in the park and still cleaning them up. Looks like they also dredged out the left launch site that was filling up last year. If you go bring a shovel with you there is quite a hump to get over on both sides.
I'll be down tomorrow if it's a little warmer for my first time out. I'll have my grain shovel and if anyone one wants to come down and help just let me know what time. <!--graemlin::o-->Oh if you want to go out with me that will work also.
