I am writing in regards to the dead fish and minnows along the banks of the sesquehanna river in the nichols ,waverly,NY area,I live on the sesquehanna river and I do alot of fishing there, recently I have began noticing large numbers of dead minnows and fish along the edge of the water,I realize the river is really low and warm, and the fishing has been very poor, this reaises my concerns for the future of this river, it has been said that the sesquehanna river is the most polluted river in ny state, and I would like to know if there are any steps being taken to clean up this beautiful river,I.B.M,Lockheed martin and a few other businesses aew located close to the river and my understanding is that these businesses have contributed to the pollution of this river, and I would like to know if these same businessess are doing anything to help clean up and save this large and beautiful river?I am asking anyone who lives near or is familiar with this river to pitch in and contact your local D.E.C and other officials to save our mighty sesquehanna river and all of its inhabitants from any further dumping or contamination into this river . Thank You
